Children and Youth
All youth and children of any age are welcome at Christ Church. We love to welcome new arrivals and will do all we can to help them settle them into our church family. Our prayer is that every child will make great Christian friends here and enjoy being part of a small group. Here are some of the things going on for them on Sundays and midweek.
At Christ Church Mayfair we are committed to ensuring that the children who come are looked after and taught in the best possible way. All those involved in children’s work are required to comply with the church’s Child Protection Policy and must obtain a clear disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau. We also give feedback and support to our leaders and run regular training events.
Midweek
There are many activities for both parents and children throughout the week, from singing and age-relevant Bible teaching, to structured play and crafts.
Little Lambs
Little Lambs is a playgroup for babies and preschool children, with their parents or care-givers. This group meets on Thursdays from 10.00 – 11.30am during school term-time. Come along for a fun, friendly atmosphere, toys, stories, songs, lots of space to play as well as coffee and grown-up conversation!

Sunday Mornings
All children and youth are with the rest of the church family for the start of our 10.15 service and enjoy a fun and engaging children’s talk aimed specifically at them. Then they go to the church offices across the road with the leaders for their own age-appropriate activities and teaching.

Crèche (under 2s)
During the 10:15 service. A chance for children under 2 to have supervised fun, playing with toys and singing songs with other children, whilst you are freed up to be part of the main church family meeting.
Christ Church Tots (2-3s)
In Tots, we teach big truths to small children. We have plenty of time to play together, and Bible stories with songs to help us learn them and craft so we can take them home.
Christ Church Kids (4-9s)
In Kids, we work through books of the Bible to find out what God is like and what he’s done for us. By the end of each Sunday we’ve had loads of fun singing, talking, playing and praying and we always make something to take home so it doesn’t have to stop.
Christ Church Youth (10+)
Our aim at Christ Church is to encourage the 10+s to think through the claims and relevance of the Christian message and the truths about Jesus.
Every Sunday we dig into the Bible together, chat through what it means for us and then enjoy some games that help us think more about what we’ve learnt. We also meet regularly on Wednesday evenings in Christ Church from 7-8:30pm. There’s a chance to chill out, have fun with games and food, and then explore a bit more of God’s word together.
