On Tuesday night we zipped through Acts 2 to dwell on the astonishing truth that: "Exalted to the right hand of God, Jesus has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured [him] out" on the church (2:33).
Next week we're looking at the whole of Acts 3 - and the big question will be where do we find life and blessing. Here are some questions to start getting us thinking...
1. Imagine one of those before/after adverts for hair loss reversal. How many differences are there in the before/after pictures for the story in v1-10 (and look at v16)?
2. The big point of v11-18 is that Jesus' name can give life or blessing. Why is it that the Jesus who was killed (had his life removed) can give life to others?
3. Make a quick list of the blessings offered to the people of God in v19-26. Which ones intrigue you so you want to talk about them more on Tuesday?
